Recycling, re-using technically, junk mail envelopes for saving next years seeds. I like how the clear plastic window lets you see the seeds. I let them sit out by the window for a week or two until dry before putting in the envelopes. I like to save a few from each of my favorites of the year so I don't have to buy seeds next year. This will be the third year for these peppers.
All of my crayon sculptures. It was only a matter of time.... Amelia was the one that finally figured out that crayons make natural gnomes because they all come with pre-made hats. here it is cast in pewter. the crayon does not completely burn out but most can be burned

I used armor etch to make these bottles frosty. This makes it possible to write on them with chalk or pencil. just use masking tape to make a square and paint on armour etch. leave for 5min and wash. I like this because I always have a few different small batches going on and don't want to get the days mixed up.
Many projects described on this page aredangerous. Especially any involving molten metal and glass cutting. I describe the safety precautions I use but make no promises that they are adequate.
