1/2 cup flour mixed with 1tsp cardamom. (Optional 1/4 tsp powdered sage and rosemary)
Mixed vigorously with
1 stick warm butter
then add
1/4 cup each of powdered sugar and cornstarch.
Freezer for one hour then fridge for 3 hours.

after baking mix 2 tablespoons warm butter with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Add powdered sugar until a pleasing consistency and frost the cookies.
